Peter joined the Group Board in 2005 as a non-executive Director and additionally now Chairs the Urethane board. His focus is on optimising strategic decisions and financial management to the benefit of shareholder value.
Peter joined KPMG on qualification in 1972. In a career spanning over 30 years he was privileged to work with a vast range of different businesses, some financially strong and became listed whilst others were challenged and required restructure. His particular industry experience was gathered in Public Transport and Real Estate where he lead specialist units working across the UK.
Peter enjoys a portfolio of roles ranging from Chair of North Bristol NHS Trust as it built the new Southmead Hospital through to Chair of City of Bristol College. Peter is an experienced commercial negotiator with strong project management skills. He continues to advise a number of local businesses and is an active member of The Society of Merchant Venturers.
